For this collaboration we headed over to Dewitt, MI to design multiple signs for Reputation Beverage Co. reputationbev.com The cafe touts a variety of specialty brews using fresh ingredients. Reputation has also expanded to canning their kombucha, fermented sweet tea, and distributing it locally.

Eric Elliott previously was one of the owners to Ellison Brewery and Spirits but has now transitioned over to coffee, tea and kombucha. The building his Dewitt location is housed in was previously a bank from the 1920s. He has maintained the eclectic flair with cozy armchairs, a bank vault retrofitted to brew kombucha, and now our hand crafted signs!

The front features a five foot gorilla logo made of galvannealed steel and powdercoated glossy white. This insures their branding is represented well and visible from hundreds of feet in every direction. Next to the gorilla is the Reputation text logo spelling out the speciality beverages they serve. We created a multiple layer sign using cold rolled steel, which was powdercoated flat black and glossy white for high contrast visibility. We finished the letters off with brushed zinc hardware finalizing the hand built industrial style logo

On the north side of the building we made 19 inch lettering to spell out “Coffee, Kombucha, Tea” powdercoated it glossy white to again bring it high contrast and visibility.

The signage overall was an economical way for Eric to bring his branding full circle and makes it so the community knows where to get the best local coffee, kombucha, and tea!
